Web Design

"It doesn't matter how many times I have to click, as long as each click is a mindless, unambiguous choice." ~Steven Krug, author of Don't Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability

Night Mode

3/21/2016

You know how you can click a button in some programs and have it go into "night mode", with a black background and white text?  You're job is to create three settings, where if I click a button/shape on each page it will transition between the three.

First: Day mode (light background, dark text)
Second: Night mode (dark background, light text)
Third: Your choice. Make it interesting!

The text on the first page should be about whether night mode or day mode is better for your vision. Does it depend on time of day and ambient light conditions? Explain. Your write-up should be at least five paragraphs long and include sources.

The text on the next page should talk about the effect of long term computer use on eye health/vision. Does staring at a computer screen for a prolonged period of time have any health effects? What are they? What are some ways to alleviate the strain?

Your last page should list the sources you used for your write-ups. Use a bullet point list, and link the articles.

This project is due Wednesday, March 31
