At this point, you should be somewhat familiar with the concept of motion tweens. Yay! But before we begin animating your character (and you will be creating one), let's take a moment to practice with a basic figure so you can get a feel for animating each piece of a character.
The file below has a basic character split into parts, a layer with the outline of what the character should look like at specific points in the walk cycle, and a layer with motion guides for a few of the joints. Take the basic character and animate its walk cycle using motion tweens, making it as smooth and realistic as you can.
